Our Team
All the staff we recruit have a genuine love of children and are dedicated to providing the best care possible for all our children.
The nursery is managed by Jackie Peters who has a Foundation degree and very many years experience of working with children both in a nursery and in an advisory capacity.
Staff qualifications include EYPS, Degree status, NVQ4, NVQ3 and NVQ2 and some training towards other qualifications. We also have apprentices within the nursery, and students at certain times on work experience.
All staff are DBS checked and all staff have a paediatric first aid certificate.
We also have modern apprentices at certain times and students on work experience.
We encourage ongoing staff professional development, and staff are regularly appraised.
Our ratios of staff are:
Ages; 0 – 2 = 1 adult to 3 children
Ages; 2 – 3 = 1 adult to 5 children
Ages; 3 – 5 = 1 adult to 8 children
All staff are qualified first aiders with a variety of childcare qualifications between them as well as a vast amount of experience. Qualifications include EYPS graduate status, NVQ3, NVQ4, and others. We are committed to recruiting only the best staff who have a genuine love of children.
