In the coming weeks, we will be looking at the season of spring and the changes this season brings to our environment and the world around us.
To celebrate World Book Day on 7 March the children and staff will be coming into nursery in pyjamas to represent stories at bedtime or dressing up as their favourite book character. We will have the opportunity to share and read lots of different stories and have arranged for a local author to visit the nursery to read his book to the children.
In the week leading up to Mother’s Day on 10 March, the children will be doing lots of activities to show their appreciation of their mother and other mother figures in their lives.
For Red Nose Day on 15 March the children will be coming to nursery dressed in bright colours or Red Nose clothes. We will be holding a cake sale all week to raise money and all donations will be gratefully accepted.
We will be talking to the children about why it is important to be happy, what makes them happy and how they make other people in their lives happy.
