At the Corner House Day Nursery we will be doing a range of Easter activities with the children this week in the lead up to Easter Sunday on 9 April.
We always like to encourage parents and carers to support the children’s nursery learning with activities at home.
One idea from the BBC website that you can do with children at home is to get them involved in the kitchen whipping up some Easter-themed treats for the whole family!
You can always occupy small children with simple Easter egg nests or jam tarts, but if you have a mini Masterchef on your hands try iced biscuits or mini egg blondies!
Easter cupcakes are great to make with children during the holidays or as a gift for friends. The zesty lemon cakes are topped with lemon buttercream and use marshmallows and desiccated coconut to decorate. For this recipe and others take a look at the BBC link here.
