September is a busy month with lots going on and lots of different activities for the children to enjoy.
For International Literacy Day on 8th September we will be teaching the children about the different way words are used, why it is important to listen and how communication is important.
The preschool children have enjoyed learning about pirates, like treasure, islands, and treasure maps. To mark this day, we are having a dress as a pirate day for the children and staff. We will also be enjoying pirate themed activities such as making treasure and designing treasure maps.
The children will be learning about what gratitude means, and talking about what they are grateful for. The children will be making cards to say thank you to the different people in their lives.
We will also be looking at the different languages which are spoken around Europe. The children will be looking at a map to see where the countries are in relation to the UK.
