This month we are celebrating Bonfire Night. The children will be making lots of colourful art and craft activities to represent fireworks.
They will be also learning ahead of Remembrance Day on 11 November why it is important to remember those who serve in the armed forces and will be making poppies and wreaths.
We will be teaching the children about why it is so important to be kind to each other and talking to them about all the different acts of kindness we can all do
Road safety will also be a theme. The children will learn about the importance of keeping safe on the road, especially as the nights get longer.
Finally, we will be celebrating World Nursery Rhyme week starting on 14 November as rhymes are an excellent way to extend children’s vocabulary and literacy skills.
